The Western Wall

This is a picture of the Western Wall in Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the holiest place in the Jewish tradition, and going to the Western Wall is something Jews all over the world hope to do some day. The experience was exactly as I thought it would be, with people putting prayers in the wall, people embracing the wall with emotion, the separation of men and women (due to the super religious) and people walking backwards from the wall in order to not turn their backs from it.

It was pretty extraordinary.
